Holidays at The Ribbon, December 19 through January 3
Skate beneath sparkling lights and festive décor while holiday music sets the mood. Enjoy extended hours -- open daily 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. -- for an unforgettable winter outing. All sessions are at least 2 hours with a 30-minute ice resurfacing break in-between (10am-12pm | 12:30pm-2:30pm | 3pm-5pm | 5:30pm-7:30pm | 8pm-10pm). Admission is $10 + $2 for skate rentals.

Trail Challenge
Join the Metroparks Trail Challenge! Sign up, set a goal, and hit the trails while making friends and memories along the way.
The Ribbon
The Ribbon, supported by the Hylant Family Foundation, is a 1,000 foot loop trail featuring rolling hills and soft curves for a uniquely Metroparks roller skating experience. The Ribbon is connected to a 5,000 square foot skating pond that offers a traditional rink experience for beginners and a series of special events and programs.
Glass City Metropark
Glass City is the start of bigger things to come, and a destination in its own right. A glass pavilion with rooftop plants and plazas, a sledding hill, walking paths, an event lawn for 5,000 people and incredible views of the city, the new park is a go-to spot beside the largest river on the Great Lakes -- the Maumee.

Board Meeting December 17
The Metroparks Board of Park Commissioners will hold its regular monthly meeting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, at the Glass City Enrichment Center. During the meeting, Molly Luetke and Lera Doneghy will be sworn in to new terms on board.
Travel Circle Series Brings the World to Wildwood
Travel the world this winter with Maumee Valley Adventurers and Metroparks. Each Saturday in January, February and March, a different, local speaker presents photos and narration from an international travel adventure.
Historic Tugboat to be Feature of Riverwalk
A tugboat that was part of the legendary story of the Great Lakes freighter Edmund Fitzgerald will be part of the Glass City Riverwalk.
