Trail Challenge
Set a Goal and Hit the Trail Join the Metroparks Trail Challenge! Sign up, set a goal, and hit the trails for your health and wellbeing, while making friends and memories along the way. Everyone enrolled in the Trail Challenge is invited to participate in a Facebook group to share photos, experiences and words of encouragement to others. As always, ALL miles count toward your goal, regardless of where you choose to recreate – miles in a Metropark, in your neighborhood, a City Park, on vacation or anywhere outdoors that you are purposefully accumulating miles.

Share the Love is back and Metroparks Toledo Foundation is one of the nonprofits benefiting. November 21, 2024 through January 2, 2025, for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased in Toledo, Subaru will donate $250 to a participating charity of the purchaser’s choosing, including Metroparks Toledo Foundation.

The Ribbon
The Ribbon, supported by the Hylant Family Foundation, is a 1,000 foot loop trail featuring rolling hills and soft curves for a uniquely Metroparks roller skating experience. The Ribbon is connected to a 5,000 square foot skating pond that offers a traditional rink experience for beginners and a series of special events and programs.
Glass City Metropark
Glass City is the start of bigger things to come, and a destination in its own right. A glass pavilion with rooftop plants and plazas, a sledding hill, walking paths, an event lawn for 5,000 people and incredible views of the city, the new park is a go-to spot beside the largest river on the Great Lakes -- the Maumee.

The Glass City Riverwalk will revitalize and connect both sides of the Maumee.
